About Me
I received my doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (2003). Following the completion of a post-doctoral
fellowship at Children’s Medical Center at Dallas, I became licensed as a clinical
psychologist. While providing therapy at a community mental health center and in
private practice, I entered the psychoanalytic training program at the Dallas Psychoanalytic
Center. In 2015, I graduated as a psychoanalyst and opened a private practice in
Washington, D.C.
I have been providing therapy for over a decade, specializing in treating adults
(college-aged and older) in individual and couple’s therapy. I teach, supervise,
and regularly attend local and national meetings on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.
I am a member of the Washington Psychoanalytic Center, Washington Society for Psychoanalytic
Psychology, American Psychoanalytic Association, and American Psychological Association.
